London’s Old Spitafields is hosting the Keen Green and Ethical Trade Market from March 6th 2012. The traders, present every Tuesday and Wednesday, will sell clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, skin care, home furnishings as well as food, all under ethical, fair trade, organic, vegan and handcrafted terms.
Carried away by the idea of shopping for ethical goods in spite of the grey sky, I visited the market on its first day. I was quite disappointed to find less than 10 traders present, especially since it took me over an hour to get there. But luckily, I met some interesting traders with great products.
