TRAID launched a limited edition of floral prints in March. I thought it was exactly what I nedeed to celebrate spring and refresh my wardrobe. I found a lovely skirt in Sheperd’s Bush’s store and a jumper in Westbourne Grove. The skirt is brand new and has been designed by TRAIDremade, a label created in 2002 by TRAID. The concept is to create beautiful clothes with second hand textiles which would have been sent to landfill if unused. The skirt is high-waisted and pleated. It also has a tie belt. The top might be a local or store donation and is 100% cotton. It is shortened at the base and long sleeved. The total price was more than reasonable and I can embrace the trend with ethics.
